WHAT IS?
A Master Class
The Master Class is an observational class that gives the audience an opportunity to watch singers perform and be critiqued in an educational setting by a world-renowned artist.
A Prelude Concert
Before you go to the operas, you can enjoy the fun and engaging Prelude Series®. The prelude concerts have been created by Opera Tampa Associate General Director Maria Zouves to enhance opera lovers’ experience at Opera Tampa.
World-renowned baritone Sherrill Milnes will join special guests of each individual opera in an enjoyable one hour show. The audience will learn about the opera’s background, the composer’s bio and the influence of these operas in
pop culture.
V.O.I.C.Experience
In 2001, Opera Tampa’s own Sherrill Milnes and Maria Zouves founded V.O.I.C.Experience to create a means for singers to advance their careers, to give them the highest level of educators and to guide them in directions that will lead to their success.
Five singers will be chosen to be the Opera Tampa New Artists and be part of the Opera Tampa productions and events for the 2010-11 season. |
