Join Maestro Lipton and other culture aficionados for the Opera Tampa Gala 2013, the highlight of the opera season.

Guests will begin the evening with a photo opportunity on the set of Verdi's A Masked Ball, complete with costumes, and an elegant cocktail reception in the Ruth Silbiger Lobby of Carol Morsani Hall.

An exquisite dinner on the Carol Morsani Hall stage follows, along with the chance to bid on exciting items in the Live Auction. The unforgettable evening concludes with post-dinner dancing and dessert.

Hosted by the Opera Tampa League, all proceeds benefit Opera Tampa.

In honor of composer-conductor Anton Coppola, the Anton Coppola Excellence in the Arts Award is givne to an artist in celebration of his/her contributions to Opera Tampa and the music world at large. Recipients are chosen based on their extraordinary efforts to build and maintain the operatic art form.

This year's Anton Coppola Excellence in the Arts Award will be presented to Martina Arroyo, one of the pre-eminent lirico-spinto sopranos of our time.

There is a maximum ticket allotment of eight tickets per account/household/business for paid, ticketed events. (For some shows, it may be less.) Applicable service charges added at point of purchase. There is no maximum for free, non-ticketed events.

For ticket purchases via the phone or ticket office, service charges are waived for current annual Straz members at the $400 level and higher, although special handling fees may apply to some shows. Service charges for online transactions apply to all members. 

Pursuant to s.817.36, Florida Statutes, no Straz Center ticket may be offered or resold for more than $1 over the face value of the ticket.
