One of our community’s treasured assets for many years, the Opera Tampa Singers are heard everywhere from Tampa Bay Lightning games to elementary schools and retirement communities to local museums and retail centers. 

During the past seven seasons, the Opera Tampa Singers have engaged more than 40,000 children, teachers, families and seniors in nearly 240 locations. Their comprehensive outreach program includes artist residencies where the singers visit schools over a series of days to create an arts education experience as well as performances at school assemblies. A wide variety of Opera Tampa Singers community performances introduce new audiences to the world of opera throughout the year.

This season's performances include:  

  • The Witching Hour, Fri., Oct. 26, 7 p.m., Fourth Friday at the Straz Center, Jaeb Courtyard (part of National Opera Week 2018)
  • Opera Night at Timpano, Mon., Oct. 29, 7 p.m., Hyde Park Village (part of National Opera Week 2018)
  • CineBistro Tenors & Tequila/ Dueling Divas, Wed., Oct. 31, 6:30/7:00 p.m., Hyde Park Village (part of National Opera Week 2018)
  • Hyde Park Village Park, Sat., Nov. 3, 5 p.m. (part of National Opera Week 2018)
  • Straz LIVE! in the Park, Sun., Nov. 6, Concert: 3–5 p.m., Curtis Hixon Park, Downtown Tampa (part of National Opera Week 2018) 
  • A Night in Spain featuring selections from La Verbena de la Palma, the sizzling zarzuela
    JUL 26-28, Jaeb Theater

The Opera Tampa Singers are also available to create a memorable evening for corporate, private and fundraising events. Whether singing solo or in an ensemble, the Opera Tampa Singers create a customzied concert of great operatic and musical theater hits.
