The Straz Center is committed to making the performing arts available and accessible through a variety of services, including sign language interpretation, audio descriptions of shows and open captioning.

We encourage patrons needing these services to call ahead (813.229.STAR) and let us know they will be using the services. In addition to confirming that the services will be provided, this helps us to avoid costs for unused services in the event that the services are not needed.

Funded in part by the 2010 Arts Presenters/MetLife Arts Access Award, a national award in recognition of the services that the Straz Center provides in engaging individuals with disabilities.

For your convenience, a Disability Services Coordinator is available to assist you. Please call 813.222.1061 at any time and leave a message. The coordinator will contact you.
